DIRECTOR OF THE TRAINING
AND THE CLINICAL RESEARCH DEPARTMENTS

Dr Prioux, what is your role at LPG SYSTEMS?

Since September 1, 2008, I hold the position of Medical Director within the LPG Group. As such, in addition to the medical validation of procedures, I am head of both the Training and the Clinical Research Departments.
I was really very enthusiastic about heading up these two departments because, although this may appear complicated in terms of organization, there is a lot of interdependence between them. Having the same person in charge is logical.

What has been your career path so far?

After ten years as a doctor in private practice, first as a General Practitioner-Sports Doctor-Osteopath, then as a Cosmetic Doctor, I took the opportunity to enter the pharmaceutical industry within the Pierre Fabre Laboratories. For the last three years, I was Medical Director in the Strategic Marketing Department for the international market. This experience of working in a company, which was very rewarding professionally, also gave me the opportunity to discover the pleasure of working in a team and the deep meaning of the notion of belonging to a group.

On joining LPG, I immediately felt this same pleasure as well as the feeling of belonging, which has confirmed my choice and my commitment to this new adventure.

What is your ambition now?

Scientific Research and Training have always been among LPG's strong points, so my ambition is that they become even more so, in order to successfully face the challenges of the future.
I am aware of the importance of the mission I have before me, I will devote all my energy and determination to see it through, and I know that in this task, I will be able to count on all LPG's collaborators.

Zinedine Zidane honours us with his presence to the Physiotherapy and Fitness Equipment Trade Show in France...

LPG, leader in the Re-education and Physical Therapy market in France, participates every year in the Physiotherapy and Fitness Equipment Trade Show with a stand covering more than 500 sq.m. (5,400 sq.ft.).

The 2008 edition, held in Paris from October 3 to 5, was marked by the presence on the LPG stand of Zinedine Zidane and his wife. The champion, himself equipped with a Cellu M6 Keymodule at home in Madrid, came as a friend to visit LPG managers and to see what’s new (the Huber-SpineForce, "The Back Machine", in particular). Hundreds of people gathered around the sportsman for an autograph or a handshake.

A great honor and a source of pride for LPG...

LPG sponsors three Beijing Olympic medalist swimmers.

LPG has recently signed a sponsorship contract with the famous "Cercle des Nageurs" Swimming Club (CNM) in Marseilles (France), and its team of champions "MARSEILLE TEAM 2012", which includes three Olympic medalists, Frédérick Bousquet, Fabien Gilot and Grégory Mallet, silver medalist in the 100m freestyle relay team in Beijing. The three swimmers are the new ambassadors for the Back Machine, Huber-SpineForce, that they use for training during their preparation. LPG wishes them good luck in this new season of competitions.

Alain Bernard discovers LPG Techniques

Wednesday, October 23: Champion swimmer Alain Bernard, who trains at Antibes, just a few kilometers from the LPG site at Sophia Antipolis, came to test LPG Techniques accompanied by his coach-physiotherapist. The Beijing2008 Games triple medalist (including gold for the 100m freestyle) and European 2008 champion for 50m and 100m freestyle, with his impressive height and muscle build, was captivated by the possibilities of the Huber SpineForce and quickly saw what it could do to improve his coordination. As for the Cellu M6, the champion was full of praise for the treatment: "My weak point is stiffness in the lower back; after 20 minutes massage with the Cellu M6, I can already feel the effects, I feel better, it’s fantastic!". Success "Made in Taiwan"

As a regular feature in this newsletter, we will bring you the "success stories" of other distributors. We will tell you about their sales methods, their outstanding results or the marketing strategy they have developed in their market. Here is the story of the Taiwanese distributor DMT:


DMT, the LPG distributor in Taiwan, brokered an unlikely marriage between LPG treatments and ...a carton of fruit juice. And it works! In practical terms, DMT negotiated a free partnership with a brand renowned for the quality of its fruit and vegetable juices containing nine vitamins and minerals.


A natural union, finally, between a juice known for being healthy for the body and a responsible beauty care treatment, Lipomassage. On the packaging appeared an LPG beauty visual and the website address www.lpgbody.com.


Those interested simply had to log to the website to download their "e-coupon" and thus win a free Lipomassage treatment at one of the LPG-equipped centers that DMT had negotiated with to offer treatments to the winners. The month-long campaign, (from July 1 to 31 this year), increased the Taiwanese distributor's website traffic. More than 300 people logged on.

SPEAKING ABOUT THE COMPETITION

Dr Philippe Blanchemaison, Vascular Doctor in Paris, Head of Teaching at the Faculty of Medicine, Paris: "Beware of scar collagen!"

Liftmassage and Lipomassage stimulate cell activity, in particular, the production of elastin and collagen. Now, other techniques proposed on the market (laser, pulsed light, etc) make the same claims. However, they are based on heating the tissue and the cells. The cells then create a cicatricial collagen in reaction to this increase in temperature, but the development of this collagen cannot, by definition, be controlled (we speak of anarchic cicatrization).
