The dangers of the cut hunger products are now well-known. Some of them contain substances, such as ephedrine (an alkaloid which is at the origin of the amphetamines), known for their dangerosity. This is why their marketing is prohibited in France since 1999.
Today there are other chemical cut hunger products (Trimspa, Xenical, Sibutral) whose taking is reserved for persons suffering about overweight and obesity declared and who are under medical supervision.
For the general public, the cut hunger preparations based on natural ingredients (agar-agar, hoodia Gordonii,) are a new promise of happiness...whose effectiveness is not proved.
One must be aware that all these cut hunger products are regularly the subject of a reappraisal of the risks by the French Agency of sanitary safety of the health products.
