Shoulder Surgery Broadcast Live

On May 31, the LPG company in collaboration with the Atlantic Polyclinic and the SFRE (The French Shoulder Re-education Society), organized a video broadcast of a shoulder replacement operation. The operation, undertaken live by Doctor Dominique Huguet, Orthopedic Surgeon, took approximately two hours.

Almost 70 physical therapists had accepted the invitation. They evidently appreciated the interactivity of the video broadcast, as they were able to ask the surgeon questions during the operation itself as well as later, at the round table discussion and buffet provided.
The theme of the event being “Operating on the Shoulder: from the operation to rehabilitation”, the day continued with contributions by physical therapists/masseurs, including Thierry Marc, president of the SFRE, and Eric Hombourger and Jocelyne Rolland, specialists in LPG techniques of osteomuscular re-education (HUBER-Spineforce) and tissular re-education (Lipomassage/Liftmassage).
