This year, major new developments in the HUBER were on display. This high technology machine, re-named the Huber-SpineForce: The Back Machine, is supported by Léopold Busquet (“Les Chaines Musculaires”) and the Ecole du Dos – Mail 14 (André Petit). Many advanced new technologies and their new protocols could be seen at the show and on the Mail 14 stand. In addition, several events took place during the show, making the LPG stand more than ever THE place to be at this year’s Physiotherapy and Fitness Equipment Trade Show … > Zinedine Zidane at the LPG standRight up to the last moment, the secret had been well kept. During the morning of Friday October 2, a surprise guest set the LPG area “on fire”: Zinedine Zidane in person, with his wife, had come to the show especially to see the new LPG models. No need to be reminded that that the world champion has been using a Cellu M6 Keymodule at home for more than five years for recovery and repair. As soon as he arrived, a small crowd besieged the LPG stand for a photo, an autograph or just to shake the champion’s hand. Zinedine, obviously very interested in the Huber-SpineForce’s high technology, stayed on the LPG stand for more than two hours… > Three Olympic Medalists as partners!But that wasn’t all: visitors also particularly noticed and enjoyed the presence of three Olympic medalists, 100 meter freestyle relay swimmers Frédérick Bousquet, Fabien Gilot and Grégory Mallet, who have signed partnership agreements with LPG. The three swimmers, who use LPG technologies for preparation (Huber-SpineForce) and recovery (Cellu M6 Keymodule [2]), were often at the stand during the three days of the show, sometimes joined by other top athletes such as Ladji Doucoure and Leslie Djohne (400 meter runner, French record holder, 5th in the 400m at the Peking Games). This year’s Physiotherapy and Fitness Equipment Show signaled physiotherapists’ growing interest in high technologies, especially those developed by LPG.
