French swimmer Camille Lacourt, 100m back World Champion in Shanghaï
Camille Lacourt and Jeremy Stravius managed an incredible double win on Tuesday in Shanghai and becoming world champions with victory in the 100mback final, sharing the same time of 52 sec 76/100e.
"Before leaving for Shanghai, we’d said that we’d like to hear ‘La Marseillaise’ (French national anthem) on the winners podium again as we had in Budapest (European Championships 2010)" said Camille Lacourt, 26, triple European Champion 2010 (100 m/200 m back and 4x100 m medley 4).
"It’s not been easy since the beginning of the competition. I haven’t had the same fitness level as last year but I really wanted to get this medal," said Lacourt.
Not only two French gold winners but also the first French competitors to win gold in the World Championships.
LPG, a Team Marseille 2012 partner, applauds the champions’ performance and wishes them the best of luck for the remainder of the competition.

At the end of June the Zinedine Zidane Z5 sport Center in Aix en Provence, France was inaugurated.
Z5 is a 17000 sqm sport center dedicated to football.
Z is for Zidane and 5 is for :
- the 5 associates running the center (Zidane’s 4 brothers + Robert Sichi)
- Zidane’s number 5 at Real Madrid football club
- Zidane’s values: Friendship, Responsibility, Solidarity, Tolerance and Fair Play

Two Champions of France for the “Marseille 2012” Team!
Thursday, March 24, 2011:
The outstanding Frederick Bousquet won the Champion of France title in the 50m freestyle in21''82(large pool), beating Alain Bernard(21''98) and Fabien Gilot (22''09).
Frederick has just completed the best world performance of the season. Previously no swimmer in the world wasable to finish in under 22 seconds in 2011.
But the honors don’t stop there...
Friday, March 25, 2011:
After a stunning 50m (transition to 22 "73), Fabien Gilot became number one in France in the large pool with the title of the best world performance this year in 100 meters Freestyle (48 ", 34 personal record) and a ticket for the Shanghai World championships!

*The Marseille (France) swimming club hosts the best swimmers in France. They founded the “Marseille 2012” team for the 2012 Olympic Games.
LPG in the exhibition spotlight!
11-04-2011 The beginning of 2011 brought an excellent harvest of awards for LPG.
Not only did LPG win the Best Booth Prize at the Cosmoprof Bologna in March (see previous news), we also received the same honour at the Spa & Wellness Expo in Bali!
A beginning full of promise…
Last week, during the Beauty Vision fair that took place in Poznan, Poland, the Cellu M6 Integral was awarded the best product gold medal. This special prize has a long tradition and strong reputation in the history of the Poznań International Fair. It has been awarded since 1979 and is highly respected by both Polish and foreign exhibitors. The involvement of ourdistributor witha dedicatedLPG stand has been rewarded with honors!
A big thank you to our distributors for being more involved and committed than ever to LPG and making these events a real success!
LPG at the Cosmoprof Bologna, Italy
07-04-2011For its 12th participation at the Cosmoprof Bologna in Italy, LPG created a major attraction with one of the biggest and most visited stands at the show.
The event ended the 21st of March and laid the path to a real “Desire for Beauty”. 177,287 attendees visited in only 4 days of exhibition, and an 8% increase in foreign visitors was recorded compared to the previous year’s show. 2300 exhibitors from 58 countries across the globe occupied 194,000 square metres; a surface area three times the size of the Palace of Versailles!
LPG aficionados were delighted to discover our brand new 400 square metre stand and were amazed by the exceptional new design. Not only were the Cellu M6® Integral and Cellu M6® Endermolab the undisputed stars of the moment, the launch of the Huber Motion Lab also created a massive buzz. The live demonstrations on the stand throughout the four days were a major attraction to crowds of visitors keen to learn more about LPG products and treatments. And as good news come in pairs, LPG also won the price of the best booth!
The event also enabled LPG to bring together over 20 of its distributors for a meeting to discuss their work and also to relax and enjoy the occasion.
